Places to visit in baguio city

There are beautiful places to visit in baguio city these tourist spots are the most visited place and most popular in the city. The city is the summer capital of the philippines and people around the country go here because of one reason, it is the weather it is cold and has fresh air so I just thought I would share some destinations and find what these places can offer.

Botanical Garden

Before entering inside the first thing that you can see is the cordilleran tribes. when you take pictures do not avoid these people they just want to take picture with you with a peace sign on their hands, they don’t always do the peace sign on their hands I just don’t know why they do it.

After taking pictures try to give or share something to them because that is what they do for a living. they will take a picture with you and pay them.

Inside botanical garden you can see tall trees and different kind of flowers, you can’t just go their and pick flowers that you like, it is not allowed. The tunnel inside botanical garden is the hiding place of the Japanese during world war 2 it is their home you can visit inside the tunnel but remember there are lights inside and nothing on it, it is boring.

Horseback riding at wright park

The distance from botanical garden to wright park is just meters away you don’t need to ride a jeepney but you can walk.

I know I’m from baguio and I never tried riding a horse in my whole freakin life. The horses here are cute there are big horses for big people and small horses for the kids you just need to pay 100 pesos for 30 minutes and I think 300 pesos for 1 hour and enjoy the ride while roaming around the place. One thing that shocks me about these horses are they have colorful hair mostly are pink colors. These colorful horses are for picture taking.

The gate at mansion house

I live in baguio for many many years and it was just last year that I first visited the mansion house. When I first saw it I was like wow I was like from different country. This house is the house of the president every time the president of the philippines visits the city this is where he stay. The place and the house is secured you are not allowed to go inside the house you are only allowed inside the gate and you can take pictures around. The gate is open from 10am to 5pm everyday.

And again the mansion house is just 5 to 10 minutes away from wright park and 15 to 20 minutes away from botanical garden. These places are close to each other.

If you have some message or comments please write down below at the comment box. Thanks for reading and visiting. There are other tourist destinations and I will post it separately.
