Today is my one year of blogging

My one year of blogging

all1

Its been a year since I started blogging. I wanna say thank you guys for all the comments, likes and visits. It really encourages me to write more and share it with you.

Today I am happy because I made it for one year, I know blogging is not easy but I believe that someday I will get hundreds and thousands of views. I just made a photo collage with some of my landscape images from my one year of blogging and some of them are on the images page.

Cordillera Mountains – Ampucao Road

IMG_00941

This shot was taken at ampucao road. I was walking around the place and saw some pretty good spot for sunrise shoot. I’ve never tried to shoot sunrise here so I am hoping to visit someday.

Today I just walk around and scout the place for my future sunrise image. Hopefully. After this shot I went to visit mount ulap, I remember it was so hot and I only got one bottle of water I drank the water and was not enough. During the hike there was a store where you can buy water so I bought two more bottles and again it was not enough so I fill up my bottle and continue the hike.

Because I saw the first store I just thought it was the end but not yet. I need to walk 1 or more 2 hours until I reach the end by that time my legs are shaking and very very very… very tired all I wanted to do is sleep and just finish the hike after I wake up but I cannot do that. After a long hours of walk finally I reach the end.c

Mount Yangbew Adventure

IMG_4054

First of all the mountain is not too high to hike, when you visit the mountain it will just take you less than 30 minutes of hike. During my first visit to the mountain I was so tired maybe because it was my first time but its true it was so tiring and my legs are shaking but when you reach the summit its like you have won million dollars of cash thats how I felt when I reach the summit.

On my social media accounts I was ask some questions about mount yangbew. I cannot answer everything on my social media. I will answer it on my blog and I will only answer some important questions that you need to know.

  1. Where was mount yangbew located? My answer to this question is “google it”. Just kidding! The mountain is located at tawang la trinidad benguet it is called mt jumbo but the real name is yangbew. Along the road you will see signs that you need to follow directing to the main entrance of the mountain. From there you will see a sign again going up to the mountain that is the start of the hike.
  2. How much is the transportation fee? From baguio to tawang la trinidad it will cost you 17 pesos if you will ride a jeepney but if you want to ride a taxi it will cost you more than 100 pesos but I suggest choose jeepney because its cheaper.IMG_9035
  3. How about the entrance fee, how much it cost? During my first visit to the mountain it is free I got nothing to pay but now there is a fee of 35 pesos and 25 for the students I am not sure of the fees anymore because its been a year that I never visited.IMG_3828
  4. What to bring? In this 20 minutes hike you don’t need to bring a lot of things just bring with you 1 liter of water, extra clothes if you need it and the most important to bring is a camera, a phone camera or dslr. Take a picture of your adventure, take some shots of sunrise and sunset and I forgot bring umbrella to cover you from rain and sun. s

Morning sunrise at sadanga bontoc mountain province

IMG_1382

First of all this was my first time shooting landscape in mountain province. While travelling to sadanga I can see that there are a lot of good places to shoot sunrise and sunset, You can see fogs moving over the mountains everywhere, you can pass by the half tunnel and reach the highest point or highest road you will pass by a car.

During the cold season the highest point or nearby places, the temperature will drop to 6 or 8 degrees celcius or lower, it is very cold. I have been to the place during my younger years, wearing jacket or sweater is not enough specially when windy.

Sadanga is a good place to live with good people, as you can see in the image and during my younger years they never renovate their houses until now and they are rich in food, they have rice, meat or what they call “wat-wat” which is the common food they eat, so when you visit their village and join their occasions expect now they will give you “wat-wat” to eat. v

Mount ulap adventure / My first visit

IMG_0296

Finally I made it to the top of mount ulap for the first. It was very tiring going up and down from the mountain but I enjoyed. As you can see in the image it is a grass land where you can only see few trees.

I think the best time to start the hike is 4 or 5am its early and a bit cold and another reason to start early is the temperature, it is cold in the morning but after 4 or 5 hours of walk you will feel the hot temperature especially if there is no clouds covering the sun but don’t worry there is also a fresh cold air coming when you start hiking down the mountain until the last trail.

You will need a lot of water because I know you will get dehydrated and your body heat will increase, bring a 2 liters of water or more and… I forgot to say eat your breakfast before the hike or else you will feel dizzy during the hike.

If you are a landscape photographer and want to shoot sunrise I think you need to start the hike at 4am and try to reach the first peak so that you will get the best shot of the sunrise with no trees covering the view. c

Another sunrise shot at mount cabuyao

IMG_2879_1

In this shot I like my composition but there is something that is lacking, it is the foreground, if my shot has better foreground it would be much better. But I still love the image it is simple but beautiful.

There are so many good foreground here for your photography in this area but with this shot I know its simple but I love my framing here.S

Mount Yangbew Sunrise

Today is february, time was just too fast its like yesterday was a minute ago. Still my plan this year is to travel until forever. I’ve got so much left that I want to do that I did not do last year I need to finish the race and story that I started. d a

I remember when I first hike this mountain I was like I’m on top of mount pulag but you cannot see a sea of clouds. You can only see la trinidad and baguio city.

I love how I took the shot here I like the green grass and rocks, when you go to the rocks you can see some beautiful foregrounds and find your own composition for your photography. This is a place where you can see the milky way because  it is very dark, the milky way is very visible to the eye.

Shooting at mount cabuyao rocks

img_2935_1

This image was taken after the sun rises that is why it has no golden colors in the sky. I manage to capture some beautiful scenes at the place, and this is one of my favorite. I love the flowers in the foreground and rock and the sky. e

I was planning to shoot this scene with me standing on top of the rock but when I went there I saw that its hard to climb and dangerous. re

The 19th sunrise of 2017 | minesview park

img_7433_1

I am back at minesview park after 1 or 2 months of not visiting. The weather is good it is not raining anymore but it is still cold. The sunrise is not good to shoot but I still capture it because that is the only reason I visited.

This past few days it is a clear blue sky so I am thinking the sunrise today is also a clear sky so when I got to minesview park it happened with only few clouds. a
